WHAT'S HAPPENING Open Strings International Guitar Festival Host Guitar Competition. Guitarists planning a European holiday this year may be additionally enticed by participation in the Guitar Competition being held at the 10th Open Strings International Guitar Festival in Osnabrück, Germany. The competition, held from September 28-30,2007, is held to showcase new, unsigned talent and is open to soloists and groups in all styles, provided the acoustic guitar is the featured instrument.
